Kat Alexander in a few words... 

...(aka Katerina A. Korolov) is a strong and passionate composer and performer.  Her varied influences and history set her style uniquely and eloquently apart from the rest.  She is the joyful leader of the Lunar Carnival band as well as a member of the national touring world music band, Wine and Alchemy.  Her 4th album of original, and thoughtfully crafted work, entitled "Garden of Stars," comes out in August of 2016.

All in all, Kat Alexander, and her incredible team of musical cohorts have one thing in common...  We are Old Souls living in this wild, new world...just like You!

Kat Alexander (Katerina A. Korolov)

Raised by eccentric Russian parents, her father was a classical guitarist, composer and master of Early Music, Katerina's life has been infused with a magical and melodic spirit from the very beginning. The sounds of Medieval Lute and Consort music wafting through the house were an everyday fixture in the heart of this young, naturally 'Old-Souled' singer.

It is many years and many travels later, as well as an endless array of appropriated genres and instrumentation, that have given this lady her otherworldly appeal. Where else can you hear a Zazzy Jazz standard, a Heart-wrenching blues original and a 13^th century Sephardic love song, all in the same sitting?!

Flavors of Jazz, Folk, Ska, Blues and World music can be heard in the vocal and compositional styling's of Katerina Alexander's work. Among her regular employment as an entertainer and sacred singer, She currently tours with her Bohemian Folk band Lunar Carnival where she writes soulful, heart-blooming originals and accompanies with voice, guitar, banjo and mandolin.

This Musical Lady has also released 4 albums of original music, a Renaissance era album of songs (check out the merch store), and worked on projects with numerous, incredibly talented artists. Another exciting way to see Kat Alexander in action is during her regular stints as the the uplifting addition of guitar and backup vocals to the nationally touring world fusion band, Wine and Alchemy.
